Tame Impala Announce North American Arena Tour With Djo, Dominic Fike

Julian Klincewicz

Around the same time that they released their album Deadbeat last year, Tame Impala headed out on a quick North American arena tour. It looked fun, but Kevin Parker and his band only played eight US shows, and they skipped a bunch of cities. Since them plenty of things have happened, including a Grammy win and a new "Dracula" remix with Jennie from Blackpink. This summer, Tame Impala will return for some more North American arena shows, and they'll have a couple of indie heartthrobs with them.

For the first half of Tame Impala's upcoming tour, he'll share the bill with Djo. You know who that is! It's the guy from Stranger Things! Actor and musician Joe Keery got a big lift earlier this year when his old song "End Of Beginning," which was already huge, became a top-10 hit after the Stranger Things finale. Djo also starred in Tame Impala's "Loser" video last year. For the second half of the bill, Dominic Fike will jump on instead. You probably know who that is, too! It's the guy from Euphoria! Fike released his Rocket mixtape last year, and he just covered the South Park theme for Like A Version. He should fit in fine.

Tame Impala won't come to America until July, after they wrap up their already-announced spring tour of Europe, which is entirely sold out. Check out their dates below.
